Returns & exchanges

We are committed to offer best services to our customers. We hope you are happy with every purchase you make with Woven4Women. However, in certain circumstances, you may want to return some items. Please read our return policy below, we will do our best to assist you.

If a customer needs to return an item, they will have to bear the

  • cost of return shipment back to woven4women
  • Restocking fee. It will be 5% of the product price or $10 whichever is higher.
  • Original order shipping charge borne by Woven4Women to ship the product to the customer. If multiple items shipped in one order and one or more items are being retuned, shipment cost will be calculated based on the weight of returning item.

If an item is returned because of a defect, our QA team will do a quality check to ensure the same.  If the defect confirmed by our QA team, a full refund including shipping charges will be made to the customer.

Below list of issues cannot be considered as defects

  • Small lumps or knots in threads can occur when broken threads are pieced together during weaving.
  • There could be uneven threads between body and boarder and is not considered as a defect.
  • Excess threads bundled together forming small knots (Slubs).
  • Minute gaps in and around motifs/buttas.
  • Extension of body color into the pallu – this is common handloom/power loom sarees and is not a defect. In fact, it is a good indication of quality sarees.
  • Color discrepancy – Colors can be subjective, and various factors, such as device settings, lighting conditions, and individual perception, can affect how colors appear on different devices or screens. It is common for there to be slight variations in color representation between the actual product and what is seen on a screen.

Below are considered as a product defect;

  • Incorrect length than mentioned in our website for the selected product
  • Tear in the product
  • Missing blouse piece if saree advertised has a blouse piece attached to it.

The return/exchange process

Returns can be made for a store credit or exchange for same or higher priced item.

If want to return an item, send us an email at admin@woven4women.com with your concern within 48 hours of receipt of the item.  We will confirm your return request and if you wanted to proceed with the return, you may ship the item back to us within 7 days of receipt of the order. If you have any concerns regarding the duration or nature of return, feel free to contact us by email.

Some of the items are not returnable, exchanged, or cancelled unless they arrived defective.  Below are some examples;

  • Sarees with blouse for which blouse has been ordered for stitching. This applies even with orders not dispatched.
  • Custom made or personalized order items. Which are made for specified sizes. This includes blouse orders that have not been processed yet.
  • Any item that has already been exchanged once before. An item can be exchanged or returned only once per order.
  • Discounted Items or Items bought during Sale/Promotions.
